WHY PATAGONIA?
Our Patagonia Adventure Guide Program offers you an incredible twelve weeks immersed in some of the most impressive landscapes in the world. El Chalten is a town located in Los Glaciares National Park and is renowned for being the hiking capital of Argentina. El Chalten sits on the cusp of the Chilean border and is a bustling community full of like-minded individuals who have come to enjoy Mother Earth’s playground.
In the heart of the region are the Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre mountain ranges, which tower over this unique township set in the foothills of the Patagonian Andes. Explorers take adventuring very seriously in this part of the world, and you will too. When you’re not exploring the mountainous terrain, you’ll be immersing yourself in the Patagonia way of life. You’ll wake up to fresh alpine air and feel the stresses of ‘normal life’ melt away as you find your rhythm in your new home.
You’ll never tire of the dramatically beautiful, untamed landscape which is where you’ll find both the northern and southern ice fields. You might take the opportunity to learn or practice Spanish, or perhaps experience rural Patagonian life with some horse riding in quintessential Argentinian terrain. One thing’s for sure, you’ll get to know the local climbing community who flock here from all around the globe, and you’ll be sure to be in the presence of some of the best climbers on the planet.
