What is the Work & Train Program you ask?
The Work & Train Program on the South Island of New Zealand offers you an epic 6 months in some of the most impressive landscapes in the world. You will gain PAID tourism industry experience as you join the crew of the Doubtful & Milford Sound Cruises for three months, and spend the rest of the program making your way through New Zealand's National Parks while gaining world-recognized outdoor guiding qualifications in hiking and rock climbing!

We have gone all out again. This Work & Train Program is a new collaboration with the leading tourism company Real NZ, which organizes overnight cruises on the world-famous Doubtful and Milford Sound. You will be joining the crew on these cruises, and get the bragging rights for having one of the most beautiful workplaces on the planet!
About the Milford and Doubtful Sound overnight cruises
Deep within Fjordland National Park in the South Island lie Milford and Doubtful Sound, the most stunning natural attractions of New Zealand. The overnight cruises allow visitors to the region to have a relaxed experience and get plenty of time to admire the fjord's waterfalls, rainforest, mountains, and wildlife. They can choose to stay on board the ship, or explore the shoreline by kayak or small boat to get a closer look at the seals, penguins, or dolphins around.
While you are working on board, you will join the tight-nit crew and love the variety it encompasses. From helping to make pavlovas and serving meals to unloading supplies and assisting passengers with outdoor activities like kayaking, there is much to be done on the vessel.
